Dianne Haswell

Dianne began her banking career in 1988 as a part-time teller for the Commonwealth Bank in Perth. From there she graduated to prestige banking, handling the lending requirements for VIP clients.

“It was at the beginning of the mining-boom, so there were quite a few people looking to invest in property. It was a pretty exciting time, and I learnt a lot about the intricacies of buying and investing.”

In 2002, Dianne moved to Adelaide to be with her daughter and family. She continued working for the CBA until 2007.

“By that stage, I was well and truly settled in Adelaide. Now I wanted a professional change – one that was more service oriented, and allowed me to be me own person.”

Dianne approached Steve Marshall, because she liked him – he was honest and genuine, and had an excellent reputation as a broker. Steve was very happy to have Dianne on board, and gave her the freedom to excel at her craft.

“For me, everything revolves around service. I like to think I over-service my clients; finding solutions, running around for them, coming to see them after hours – all kinds of things. But I never see it as a hassle – I remove the hassle and stress from lending. You’re a part of people’s lives, working with them to fulfil their dreams and goals. And I love it!”
